Machine Gun Kelly

MachineColson Baker (born April 22 in 1990) is an American singer and rapper. He is also popularly known as Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), a songwriter, actor and a singer. He is renowned for his blending of genres, combining alternative rock with hip hop.Machine Gun Kelly released four mixtapes from 2007 and 2010 prior to signing with Bad Boy Records. His debut album entitled Lace Up (2012, peaking at the 4th spot on the US Billboard 200), featured his hit single "Wild Boy" with Waka Flocka Flam. General Admission (2015) and Bloom 2017 were his second and third albums. The latter was the one that featured the smash single "Bad Things" which was sung by Camila Cabello. The song peaked at number 4 in the Billboard Hot 100. The fourth album, Hotel Diablo (2019) featured the rap aspect of rock.Machine Gun Kelly debuted his fifth album entitled Tickets to My Downfall, in 2020. It was a complete departure from hip hop and an entry into pop punk. It debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, the only rock album to achieve that at the time, and included the single "My Ex's Best Friend" that climbed to the top 20 of the Hot 100. It was followed up by Mainstream Sellout (2022) which had him achieving the same commercial success. The singer has appeared in the suspense film Nerve (2016), the horror Bird Box (2018) and the comedy Big Time Adolescence, as well as the biopic The Dirt (both 2019).
